Hey Max, what artists are we talking about? Music, painting, writing, dancing? These are all very specific industries. As an artist, what's your craft and what do you wish you'd have known before launching your career?
Do you know of any online courses for starting artists?

Do you spontaneously hunt products without speaking with the founders/makers?
I see people hunting multiple products. Is there some kind of discussion with the maker so as to maximize impact for the launch? Or do you simply hunt products you believe are worth sharing?

It really depends on what you're selling and who you're selling it to. If you're Buffer, it makes total sense to advertise on Instagram. You need to identify where your audience hangs out and if they can sign up for your SaaS on whatever device they're using. Or you could use Instagram to push some content and push for signups on desktop. But you need to do the exercise for your specific case :)
How much do you rely on Instagram for SaaS promotions?

What are some hidden gems/little-known podcasts for founders/early-stage startup marketers?
Aside from the obvious ones like Garyvee's or Tim Ferris's, what podcasts would you recommend to founders or startup marketers?

How much time do you spend on things that don't scale?
I'm sure a lot of you have read this iconic article by Paul Graham (http://paulgraham.com/ds.html) so I was wondering... how much time do you founders/early-stage startup marketers/growth hackers really spend on things that don't scale (like writing content, building relationships, etc.)?

Hey Chloe,
This is my go-to article when I hear about "Educating the market": https://medium.com/@thiagoko/youre-not-educating-the-market-you-re-just-delusional-35678da79607
Don't be fooled by the shock value of the title, it's actually a very interesting read. The essence, though, is that you should be listening to the market instead of trying to educate it.

It depends on a few things but if you've already validated your idea and you know that your product is solving an actual problem, you should be comfortable charging money for it.
Sell on value, not on price.
I used to work at Prospect.io, a 100% bootstrapped SaaS startup. There's never been a free plan or a free trial. The only way to access the app has always been to pay upfront. And the...

Hey Gabriel, I'm not a founder but I can tell you what I've liked about onboardings I've had:
- Within the first few days (if not the first day), I've been introduced to the company's values, and to the company's mission. It really helps in making you feel part of the team and engaging you.
- Your product needs a knowledge base anyway, if only for your customers but getting a tour of the...

Don't build features, build value for someone
I don't know who needs to read this but I hope my experience can help :)
I recently left the startup ecosystem to help an "old-fashioned" company launch a SaaS. They didn't know where they were going because their initial target market -they'd been developing for 2 years- actually couldn't afford the product.
So they made a new version of the product, that could appeal to more people and...

Your open rate will largely depend on your subject line. People receive dozens of emails every day and they will only click is something is super appealing.
You should look at CoSchedule's headline analyzer, it'll help you build compelling subject lines that'll get your emails opened. See if that makes a difference :)
How do you increase the open rate of your newsletters?

Hey there, here's what I can offer based on my experience.
Landing pages: Instapage is my favorite. It's a bit expensive but extremely flexible, and requires no coding skills whatsoever. Their support team is fast to respond and very helpful. They have a bunch of integrations so it'll always work with whatever tools you're already using.
Marketing Automation: Autopilot is great; you can...
