LinkedIn ads have been the most effective for generating high-quality B2B leads for my SaaS startup. Organic social posts on Twitter and LinkedIn help build awareness, but the conversion rates are much lower compared to paid ads targeting a specific audience. I've heard good things about YouTube ads but haven't tried them myself yet. Curious what channels are working best for others!
Which social media channels generate the most customers for you? And how it is in reality:

Building a strong team is all about hiring people with complementary skillsets who are passionate about the mission. Spend a lot of time on the interview process to really get to know candidates. Look for self-starters with grit who are great communicators. Fostering psychological safety and open communication is key. Empower the team and give them autonomy. Lead by example with strong work...

If you don't have family support, finding a solid peer group is clutch. Connecting with other founders who are in the trenches with you, dealing with the same struggles, is so valuable. They just get it in a way others don't. Mentors are great too but having those real-time sounding boards going through it with you is π

For sure! Give your beta users an amazing experience and make it super easy for them to give you feedback. When they have their first big win or aha moment with your product, that's the perfect time to ask them for a review. Make the process seamless and you'll get those early reviews rolling in.
Do you have any tips for getting early product reviews?

It really depends on your company's stage and focus. Early on, outbound strategies like cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, etc. can generate quick wins. As you grow, inbound becomes key - great content, SEO, referral programs, ads. And with scale, leads start coming more organically through word-of-mouth, brand awareness. Nail the basics first, then layer on what fits your ICP best.

Rest is important but no need to overdo it on the weekend! I like to balance R&R with fun activities - try a new hobby, get outside, or explore a new area of town. Switching it up keeps things interesting. Relaxation is key but so is a bit of adventure! π΄πβπ Looking forward to the video too!

Catch up on sleep, play some games, and dive into a book or two. π΄π Rest is important, but I also like having a weekend project or activity to mix things up. All leisure and no stimulation makes Jack a dull boy, as they say. How about you, any fun weekend plans or tips to share? Always looking for new ideas!

Yeah for sure, those are all great places to list your product for early adopters. I'd also add YCombinator's Hacker News, especially the monthly 'Show HN' posts for sharing new projects. And if your product is dev-focused, Dev.to and DZone have engaged communities. Launching on AppSumo can give you a big burst of initial traction too if you have a SaaS product. The key is going where your...

Cool example with Cove using AI for trip planning! I've seen some companies get super creative with AI-powered product demos and interactive previews to build hype for launches. Like realistic product simulations you can play with. Def catches attention and helps communicate value prop in a memorable way.

Totally agree, you gotta start generating some $ from your product at some point. Maybe start small with a cheap pricing tier to test the waters and see if people bite. Worst case, you make a little extra change. Best case, you discover a viable biz model π°

Yeah, bias in AI algorithms is a tough problem. A few key things to look at are 1) Making sure your training data is diverse and representative, not skewed toward certain groups. 2) Testing your models for fairness across different subgroups. 3) Having human oversight to audit algorithms for bias. 4) Prioritizing explainable AI so you can understand the reasoning behind decisions. It's an...

Definitely leverage the PH community! Post early teasers to build hype, time your launch right, and offer something unique just for PH users. Maybe do an AMA on launch day to engage folks directly. And make sure your PH page really sells your product's value prop with killer visuals and copy. PH can be a major traction driver if you play it right!

I'm using iMovie and Filmora for quick and basic edits. For more complex projects I'll sometimes boot up DaVinci Resolve. Curious what AI tools people are using to speed up their editing workflows?

Project metrics I track: 1) % of requirements delivered vs. planned 2) # of bugs found in testing/after release 3) Actual vs. estimated effort for tasks 4) Team velocity sprint over sprint. Agree customer feedback is key to measure if we're building the right thing!
What metrics do you use to measure the progress and success of a development project?

Definitely start with a side gig first to test the waters before making a full career switch. And make sure you have some savings to fall back on in case it takes a while to ramp up income in the new field. Networking is key too - talk to people already working in the industry you want to pivot to and get their insights and advice. It's a big decision so don't rush into it, but fortune favors...
