Been using it for about 6 years now. I even used a whiteboard with marker to imitate the app before it got ported to android. Very useful for new years resolutions.

Simple to use. However, it sends a lot of data to facebook. I don't even have a FB account and it sent about 356MB to them over the course of several months. I can't see what the packets contain since they're encrypted.

The only good alternative to Whatsapp IMO. Once Whatsapp was purchased by Facebook, they had a very short time period where you can opt out of having your conversations recorded and sent to Facebook. If Facebook has your data, so does everyone else. I've been using it for several years now and it's always been reliable and easy enough to use that I can bring new people into the app. I like it...

This would be good for remote purposes, but I've always found it faster to use have a plain whiteboard in the office that everyone can write on with ordinary markers. At a place my friend works at, they spent a few thousand dollars on a tech upgrade to replace their whiteboards in the office with something more modern only to return everything and go back to markers. There are always going to...

It's built well, but it's designed a certain way that limits it as a general use application. I prefer that, though. I'd rather have a software that's very good at X and Y instead of something that's just ok with the whole alphabet.
The best use I came up with after years of use (with both myself and multiple teams) is making 4 categories - INACTIVE, ACTIVE, MAINTAIN, DONE - and color...

Compatibility with linux is a big plus. The nightlight feature in Ubunu 18.04 has mostly replaced it though. The advantage f.lux had was that you could set the screen temperature, but since there are ways of doing that with nightlight now (although not through the GUI), I don't see the reason that f.lux is any more special than similar software. Still, I do recommend it to friends for ease of use.
