We just launched our product today, and all of our comments seem to be fake. This is very disappointing.
We did not collaborate or pay anyone, nor did we spam social media about the launch.
Product Hunt should verify profiles to avoid this as this is disheartening and provides us with no real value.
Your low conversion rate is likely due to bot traffic generated by these “influencers”.

Just launched to a wave of fake engagement?
Today we launched our project here on Product Hunt and we’re honestly a bit disappointed. We did not expect much, but it seems that a big portion of the engagement we’ve received so far is coming from bots / fake accounts.
No, we did not pay anyone nor did we spam on social media about the launch.
Has anyone else experienced a similar outcome?

I’m overall not a big fan of what LinkedIn has become with all of the clout chasing, rather than making actual connections…
Let’s see how this “new” video format will affect this.

Congratulations on the launch Thomas & Reuben! 🔥
Sounds great for those moments when I’m on the go and need to quickly jot down the spontaneous ideas that pop up.
Love the fact that it actually sorts them as well by topics (my notes app is currently a mess)!
Just downloaded it, excited to try it out!

Congratulations on the launch, Elena! ⭐️
This sounds like a great product. I tried the demo quiz and love the live bidding feature.
Do you have any future plans for any type of functionality or customizable reward system for the acquired credits?

This is a really interesting question, Aubrey!
Do we truly prefer one over the other, or do we simply adapt to the idea of liking something as design trends, like so much else, go through cycles? I want to say that I prefer minimalism, but I can’t guarantee that my answer wouldn’t have been different if you'd asked me this question back in the early 2000s.
What are your thoughts on minimalism in design, and do you prefer it over maximalism or vice versa?

Great question! ⭐️
I believe that all platforms have unique strengths, weaknesses and levels of value.
However, it’s not necessarily about identifying one definitive winner, but rather understanding the unique characteristics of each and how they align with our target audience and objectives!
Which social media platform do you think has the most value?

Hi Karl! I would say this depends on what you’re selling as well as your budget.
1. If it’s a low-ticket, low commitment product with a broad appeal, then sure, it could work well since the buying decision is quicker and requires less persuasion.
2. If your budget (and tracking set-up) allows it. Use this formula as a starting point to determine the required daily budget ((CPAx50)/7). This...

Well, creative still hasn’t been ”replaced”. It’s been amplified, sure, but AI mostly produces average results at best.
What human abilities do you think AI cannot replace?

Some companies don’t want the usage of stocks, so we’ve been shooting our own!
But for those that are fine with it, Freepik has been one of my go-to’s due to their volume of variation.
When writing marketing content, what are you using to find stock images?

The challenges have been many. All from the fatigue of wearing 100s of hats, to dealing with difficult people and keeping up with the everchanging digital landscape.
It’s been a joyfull ride nonetheless, but it’s not an easy route.
How about you?
Can you share your journey as a digital marketer?

For me, it’s about doing what I enjoy. If I stop enjoying it, I change course.
Now, ”enjoying it” can take many forms - whether it’s fun, meaningful or fulfilling. But at the core, it’s always about finding enjoyment in what I do.
Why do you do what you do? Has your purpose changed since you started?

How do you overcome creative blocks in your area of work? 🪄
For me, I find one classic to be super effective - to just scribble my thoughts on paper. It usually starts off a bit random, but soon enough my mind starts to wander, and ideas start taking shape.
This wasn’t a favourite method of mine a few years back, perhaps due to its uncontrolled nature…I guess I kinda grew into it!
What do you do when you're stuck in a creative rut?
