I remember when the problems of image recognition and image classification were considered to be nearly unsolvable problems for computers. While GPT is a massive technological leap forward and may ultimately lead to larger overall advances, image-based generative AI is the technology that arrived earliest compared to my expectations. We'd already been experimenting with different types of LLMs...

Captivating.
Something wondrous, powerful, effective, and at the same time capable of becoming something harmful in a wide variety of ways, but always fascinating.

All of the above have been factors, but reliability on very complex tasks has been the most consistent blocker by far. With that said, I've been consistently impressed at what they can actually handle after additional time and modification given to prompts.

Absolutely both! Though technically, the work I'm doing is ultimately going to be someone else's fun, so I see a great deal of applications of generative AI for personal enjoyment and entertainment. The leaps and bounds being made with each iteration and step are incredible, and can be sculpted to produce genuine works of art and creativity.

It's often not an option for me, but when I'm working on something that allows me to get "in the zone" I like a mixture of prog rock, EDM, and lyric-less world.

I don't think everyone is, and I don't think everyone would want to be. I do think that it's now better and easier for anyone who wants get involved to TRY to be. Some people are going to try it and never hit on an idea that gains traction. Some people are going to get traction, and then discover that it's not for them and burn out on personal energy and motivation. But I do think that with...

I'm the kind of person that always reads all the text, but I'd say in general that's by far the exception and not the rule. I still think that longer communication has value between people who already know each other (even via texts), but as far as marketing and ads I would think that it always needs to be short unless it's delivered in a particularly clever way.
Do you read long texts? (My own research for marketing purposes)

Realistically, people are going to judge a product by its cover/curb appeal. In an ideal world they wouldn't, but the fact of the matter is that the saying came into existence because people will, in fact, judge books by their covers. Not every product needs to be appealing in the same way or to the same audience, but people are always going to be more inclined to try something that looks...
