This is a cool idea. Does it violate app store policies? I suspect they might not want developers changing code on an already deployed app.

I've been using foursquare for a while and while I do feel nostalgic about the old, simple app I look forward to seeing the new version. I just opened it up and it does feel a bit overwhelming but I'm sure that's just the novelty.

Calibre's been great for me. They also provide a way to push to iOS - not sure if it's the same with Android.

I've used Oyster before and really liked their UI. One thing that I wish they had was integration with an Amazon wishlist. That way I'd be able to see the overlap between their offering and my wishlist. I'm sure Amazon will provide that integration.

I love the graphics style here. Kind of reminds me of a more cartoony Warcraft 3.
