I first discovered HackMD several years ago around the time that Hackpad was acquired by Dropbox. I love the simplicity of the web interface that allows me to write guides. I use other markdown for other writing tools as well for different work.
I find HackMD is great for sharing knowledge with just enough styles and visualisation support (such as alerts, images, tables, and UML diagrams)...

The starter kit is a really fun way to get interested in building robots. The app is also pretty easy to use, but the connectivity drop will need to be fixed for a better UX (otherwise a bit frustrating for controlling). I think they have tutorials online as well for additional robots, but haven't gotten to those yet.
