Think you use both to your advantage. Sometimes some short term gains are the fuel for long term value. It's tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you're crawling for months (or years). Short term gains will definitely help you get through that. Definitely experienced this building littlebro.app. Hoping for long term gains but surviving the months through a bit of short term wins.

I've found that I get a TON done in the first 2-4 weeks of doing anything. The excitement of something new gets me going. Not quite sure if there's a specific niche of products but I do think it tends to lean towards smaller brands that require a "[1-5] Product of the Day" badge for confidence building.
I'm hoping to launch littlebro.app in October during the week to get more eyes on it. At the end of the day, I feel like it's about the strategy of what you use the launch for.
