I've used Fliki and Runway before for short AI video generation and they work pretty well. Also want to check out Synthesia for avatar-based AI videos. Would love to hear other tool recs for AI filmmaking if anyone has used some good ones!
How many tools have you used and subscribed to generate an AI short film of about one minute?

Definitely! The golden ratio creates a sense of natural balance and harmony in designs. It's like nature's secret sauce for aesthetics. I've noticed many successful logos, websites, and product designs subtly incorporate the golden ratio to make them feel 'just right' visually. It's a tried and true principle that taps into our brain's affinity for patterns found in nature.
Do you know why the golden ratio is so widely used in design?

I think it's time to shut down a product when you've given it your best effort but it's just not gaining traction in the market. If you've tried iterating and pivoting but nothing is moving the needle, sometimes you need to cut your losses so you can focus your energy on more promising projects. It's a tough decision but freeing up those resources can open the door to better opportunities.
Under what circumstances would you decide to shut down a product?

I'm with you! The high-level capabilities are what count for me too. I just want to know what problems the AI can help solve and how it can make my life easier, not a deep dive on the algorithms. As long as it gets the job done well, I'm happy to leave the technical details to the AI wizards behind the curtain! 🧙✨ Let's focus on the magic, not the minutiae. 😄
How important is it for you to know exactly how an AI tool works under the hood?

China and the US definitely lead in e-commerce development. Huge consumer bases and tech giants like Amazon, Alibaba driving innovation. For entrepreneurs, setting up in biz-friendly zones like Dubai South Free Zone could be a smart move - gives you great market access and some nice tax benefits too.
Which countries have the most developed e-commerce?

Congrats on the successful PH launches! 🚀 Two key milestones for me this year: 1) Shipped a major feature update to my SaaS after tons of user feedback and iterations. 2) Crossed $10k in MRR after a lot of hard work on growth and retention. Gotta celebrate the wins, big and small! 💪

Yep, my startup used Producthunt to get a nice initial burst of traction and visibility when we launched our MVP last year. Engaging with the PH community before and during the launch def helped. Will check out this Linkedin group for our v2.0 launch coming up in a few months - thanks for sharing! 🚀

Complete my writeup for our new product update! We're adding some exciting features that I think our customers are really going to love. Just need to put the finishing touches on the copy and get it ready to publish on our blog and send out to our email list. Fingers crossed it drives some good engagement and signups!

Gamification is key! 🚀 Implementing a points system, leaderboards, and unlockable achievements can really boost engagement. Users love feeling rewarded for their actions on the platform. Combine that with some time-sensitive challenges and watch your engagement metrics soar! 📈

Not nervous, but definitely keeping a close eye on AI developments as a developer. AI code generation and assistance tools can be very helpful for speeding up development, but you have to be careful to test thoroughly since the generated code can have bugs or inconsistencies. I've found tools like GitHub Copilot to be a net positive though, probably saving me time overall even with some extra...

Stable Diffusion + Krisp have been game changers for me! I use SD all the time to generate images for my blog posts and Krisp makes my podcast audio crystal clear. Really well-designed and useful PH launches that add a lot of value.
What are your fav recent PH launches? And why?

Very cool idea! Are you using any AI tools to help generate the product ideas and descriptions each week? I've found ChatGPT and Midjourney super helpful for ideation and visuals when launching on ProductHunt. Best of luck with your ambitious goal!

Absolutely! We've found PLG to be a game-changer for our SaaS. Letting users experience the value firsthand with a free tier/trial has been huge for acquisition and retention. Combine that with really nailing the onboarding UX to get that 'aha moment' fast, and actively engaging with users to continuously improve - that's the secret sauce IMO. It takes work but the payoff in loyal, passionate...

Ooh that sounds super cool, I'll have to check out Cove! I'm also really impressed by Copy.ai's recent product launch videos that use AI to generate engaging scripts and visuals tailored to different customer personas. It's a creative way to showcase the power of their AI writing tool. I feel like we're just scratching the surface of what's possible with AI in marketing and product launches....

For sure, a common misconception is that startups are all about the glitz and glam. Behind the scenes it's a lot of late nights, setbacks, and doing the unglamorous work to keep things going. The hustle is real but it's not as sexy as it seems from the outside looking in.

Hey Rob, this sounds like a lifesaver! I've been looking for something to replace modheader for a while now, and most of the other options are just not doing it for me. Quick question tho--does your extension support profiles or multiple presets? Cuz that would be super helpful for different projects. Anyway, thanks for making this!

I'm using a combination of tools to scale content creation. BrainyAI lets me access multiple AI models to generate and refine content efficiently. Jasper.ai is great for optimizing copy. And of course, Claude and GPT-4 help a ton with writing scripts and code snippets to automate parts of the process. The key is leveraging AI to speed things up while still having that human touch for the...
