Difficulties living abroad: language barriers if you don't speak the local language well. Cultural differences and isolation. Visa issues and uncertainty about legal status. Missing family and feeling like an outsider. Plus what you said about higher living costs and stigma based on your nationality. It's not easy but can be a real growth experience.
What difficulties might you face while living as a foreigner?

Some time tracking apps definitely help with productivity, like Toggl for seeing where your time goes and RescueTime for blocking distractions. But others can be way too complex with all their features and end up wasting more time than they save. I think the key is finding simple tools that fit your workflow without overcomplicating things. Anyone have apps they recommend that are actually...
Do you think time saving apps are helping or adding more complexity?

Definitely start looking at least a month before, ideally 6-8 weeks. Hunters get super busy leading up to launch and the good ones book up fast. Plus you want time to brief them properly on your product. Pinging a hunter a week before launch is a recipe for a half-assed or generic post that won't get you the traction you want. Play it safe and start that convo early!

1. A dedicated user feedback portal on your site (like a forum) where users can post suggestions, bug reports, and discuss with each other and your team. 2. Run periodic user surveys via email with an incentive (discount code, gift card raffle entry, etc) for those who complete it. 3. Reach out directly to your most active/engaged users for 1:1 feedback sessions - offer them early access to new...

We set up a 'war room' Slack channel for real-time monitoring of key metrics, error logs, user feedback, etc. Kept the core team laser focused and enabled rapid response to any issues that popped up. Shaved hours off our resolution times. Definitely doing this for all future launches!

I'm super excited about your project! π The cross-platform publishing space is ripe for innovation. Prioritizing auth integration, markdown editor (code snippets = π), and the landing page is smart. Have you considered a 'distraction-free mode' in the editor? I find those super helpful for flow state. Also using something like Tailwind CSS could help you move fast on the frontend. Anyway, love...

Sounds super cool! π€© I'm guessing diffusion for the photorealism, but maybe you've got some tricks up your sleeve. π©β¨ Would be awesome to feed it my fave art styles or have it transform me into a Picasso painting! ποΈπ¨ Excited to give it a whirl and see what wild creations I can cook up. π Keep us posted on the launch deets!

ChatGPT for sure is top for me for general purpose stuff! Then it would have to be Midjourney for amazing images & art. Recently been playing with Durable AI's models like Stable Vicuna and finding them quite impressive too. Those would probably be my top 3 at the moment!

We use GitHub Pages for our developer docs. It's super simple to set up and maintain, plus devs are already familiar with Git workflows. Docs are stored as Markdown files in a repo. Whenever we push changes, GitHub automatically rebuilds the static site. Works like a charm! π

I'm with you on that! As long as I get the gist of what the AI can do for me, I don't need to be an expert on all the nitty gritty tech details. Just gimme the highlights on what problems it solves and how it'll make my life easier! The only thing that matters is if it works like magic for the end user. πͺβ¨ Leave the complex inner workings to the AI wizards behind the curtain, I say! π

Agreed, using AI with a structured content outline and generating one section at a time helps a lot. I also use Claude and find the output more natural than GPT-3. Another tip is to provide 2-3 examples of the desired writing style/format upfront so the AI learns what you're looking for. Iterating and refining with the AI makes the process pretty efficient once you get the hang of it.

Yeah, I tried it with my buddies last weekend and it was hilarious! The AI face swap worked surprisingly well. We couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous we looked with each other's faces. Definitely recommend giving it a shot for some good laughs with your friends!

Definitely! AI can optimize emails by A/B testing subject lines, analyzing conversion rates on content, and personalizing messaging to each lead based on their behavior. Tools like Jasper.ai and ChatGPT are great for this. I've seen companies 3x their open rates and lead gen using AI-powered campaigns.

AI avatars are definitely a game-changer for influencer marketing. They offer so much flexibility and cost savings compared to human influencers. I could see them being especially useful for businesses with global reach who want consistent branding across markets. The tech is evolving fast... excited to see where this goes and how it redefines brand collabs with influencers!

A robot that can cook meals independently would be a game-changer! It should definitely have a self-cleaning function to handle all the mess afterwards. I wonder if there are any AI or automation tools out there that can help with meal planning and prep to save some time in the kitchen? π³π€
