Well, you don't "get" feedback, you ask for it. There are two types of users who "give" you feedback: those who absolutely LOVE it and those who absolutely HATE it. Everyone else is in between.
What can you do if your local friends cannot see or find the solution of your platform or startup?

You can:
- Sell Enterprise dedicated instances
- Sell microtransactions and subscriptions (charge for certain features or transactions)
- Sell services around your platform
- Sell user data (not their contact info or anything identifiable, unless it's the type of business you want to do)
- Ask for donations
- Sponsored content
- Affiliate links, so you don't "advertise", you "refer"

I like the text only video, though I could see the appeal for a voiceover that other suggested.
I caught the "network" typo too.
My one comment though is that, even though I do have a lot of investments in various places, I don't see it as "tracking my net worth". To me as a regular user, I see it as tracking my investment. When I hear net worth, I hear Bezos, Gates, Buffet, Cuban etc, which...

Hi Fellow makers,
I am the creator of Koupi (https://koupi.io), a no-code PowerShell script generator. My ideal target customer is an entry-level IT technician with little to no coding experience, who would like/needs to automate their work but is intimidated by programming.
I know the current landing page sucks at conveying that message. So my question to you is: what modifications do you...

How you you reach out to customer who don't know that they need your product?
Hi,
I recently realized that my customers are by definition not looking for my product. How can I reach out to them?
My ideal customer is someone in IT who needs automation but is too afraid to look for tools or ways to automate because they're going to find code, which is intimidating to them.

I don't have customers yet, so I cannot answer your question with 100% certainty, but my strategy is content marketing. I have a few reasons for that:
1) I want that when my customers look me up in Google, my company comes up in the first page.I.E.: SEO
2) It builds a relationship with customers. Partnerships do that too but they don't necessarily do #1.
3) It provides value.
4) It works...

My #1 advice is not to look for a product to create but a problem to solve. People who look for products to create are employees, people who look for problems to solve are entrepreneurs.
Start with yourself: what is a problem that you have that you would like solved? Is it a problem that other people have? How annoying is it? would you be willing to pay to get it solved?

same as @alex_papageorge content creation and recycling is the time consuming piece. I probably spend 6h a week in content creation and maybe 10mins on scheduling.
Does scheduling content consume too much of your time?

Hi Makers!
I did a soft launch for https://koupi.io and I'm looking for beta testers/users to get feedback.
Koupi is a no-code automation tool for sys admins, and really anyone who writes scripts for computers for a living. It's free to use (you don't even need an account), but for Enterprise, I would recommend a paid private instance.
The questions I'd like answered from users would be:

Fake social proof WITHOUT being misleading?
The other day I came across an interesting dilemma: You "need" social proof to get users, and you need users to have social proof.
So I asked myself: how do you get social proof with no users WITHOUT being slimy, shady, and misleading (i.e.: being blatantly obvious that the social proof is fake)?
In my research, I came across a 2-year-old thread...

I would say:
1) spam
2) it's a catch-all for messages. Unless you setup rules, everything goes in one place.
3) It's not chat and vice versa. I'd love short messages to look like chat and long ones like emails.
What are the biggest problems with email?

A lot of your questions seem to require a little more context:
1. It really depends on what you mean by "scale" I/O, data, access? I use MongoDB Atlas, it's online, easy to manage. MongoDB, SQL, Snowflake all work, it just depends on your application and skill level.
2. I would recommend Stripe, but honestly, PayPal can process transactions just as well.
3. I took an angular course on Udemy,...

I have a similar problem. I am trying to find users to use my product. I want to perform user interviews, but it's hard when there are no users.
I feel like all product people have the same issue: finding users.
