I identify as an engineer, that's who I am... I design and implement solutions to solve problems. For most of my working life those problems involved the hardware verification of extremely complex ASIC designs, and generally my work was like doing my hobby. Recently I've taken the huge step out of my corporate comfort zone to start making these solutions available to the world in general. I've co-founded a startup called Fusion Unchained which will provide key pieces of reusable hardware verification infrastructure. Additionally Fusion Unchained provides tools that simplify mundane tasks. For example, FUnLogMatic is a tool that applies to anybody who needs to extract information from large log/data files and reformat it into more manageable information at the touch of a button.
