It takes a tremendous amount of time and dedication to finish a 'side' project. I try and break everything down into task using JURI or something like that. I determine the number of hours and then double them. If I want to make that kind of commitment to the project I proceed. Text forces people to be more concise and not ramble. So when I'm doing something that is task related liking coding I want something written down. When the environment is more casual or personal I like face to face interaction.
Could voice messages be a more natural way of communicating than text?

There's an enormous payoff in the satisfaction of creating a dream and having the discipline to finish. I'm very glad that I did it. However I'm not sure I'd want to do it again. But doing it once will have a big pay off to me no matter the result.
