The biggest noticing that I had was that GPT-4 seemed to follow instructions better. I was prompting with: Ask me one question at a time. GPT 3.5-turbo would continue to ignore that instruction for some reason.

I had one question: How do you handle the API keys. When he said they're stored locally, I thought. I'm buying it right now. It helped that Tony is one of my favorite makers and I had just seen a break down of how much cheaper it is to use the API over ChatGPT plus. Nice one Tony!

I don't cold DM people a lot, but I usually follow up a conversation with questions of interest and curiosity about what people are up to. I also don't mind receiving a sincere cold DM by other Indie Makers or sales people who could actually create value for me.
