Yes, for sure. Sometimes things are overwhelming.

I've been using Bluesky almost since its initial launch, long before I started using Product Hunt. My main two points in favor of Bluesky are that 1) it's as open and transparent as a social media website can be, and 2) Bluesky has an infrastructure for the developers to build around it, where I have met many good friends and even built a small thing of my own...

Twitter for sure as it enables me to meet so many people, both online and IRL. The format is just perfect for interacting with specific points from someone's "thread of thought" which is extremely useful for sieving the most important, crystalized ideas. And the network effect is huge. Most of value in my life for the last 2-3 years has come from Twitter.

It's actually pretty nice! There are a few things I would marginally improve, though. The most important among them IMO is the inconsistent typographic and paddings. For example, sometimes there is a period at the end of a caption, and sometimes there isn't — and the common designer wisdom is to get rid of periods in captions and headings. I'm always trying to frame networking events as friendly parties and steer those towards them. That way, it feels much more like just hanging out with cool folks rather than seeking business connections.
