I think higher education comes into play when you have experience in the workforce and is planning to upgrade yourself in knowledge and building new connections. I think if the main purpose of going back to higher education is just for knowledge, it isn't a complete journey as YouTube has tons of learning videos. But throwing in the idea of connecting with new people, that is a whole package...
