Hey ProductHunt,
I'm the author of Ping (https://ping.barelyhuman.dev), a very tiny service that came to life for my own use case and now being offered to the rest of the world.

Hey,
I'm the author of Goblin.
Goblin was made to make it easier to distribute CLI tools built in Go.
Both the implementation and usage are pretty straightforward.
Reasons to build it
- Easier to distribute CLI binaries for each requesting system
- Handle version resolution(from github and go proxy, and more over time)
If there's anything else that you'd like to know feel free to ask :)

I built TillWhen a few months ago with a small idea in mind and it was received well by people who did choose to use it.
Though I wasn't satisfied by how I had built the arch and everything so I decided I'd build something that would take care of all those issues and also take up the feature set of TillWhen.
Introducing Taco (I love tacos!)
While we are far from getting all the TillWhen...

Simple Tasks and Collaboration Management
Please welcome the brother product of Tillwhen, Taco. A tasks and collaboration project built for people who like to make research trails.

I'm not really a social person so I don't have any social media accounts, I do have set times in the morning that I read through blogs and newsletters for new stuff that's being built, I generally avoid having the phone around me and I get up after a certain task for a few mins to avoid both back pain and give my brain a break.
There's music playing 24/7 though.
How do you use technology mindfully - as a tool - when you're a founder?

Either works, though think of it this way.
- Is the new niche something thats interesting and you really wanna get into it, or do you just want to do it because it seems it'll get you traction.
If it's just the traction you are after, then you gotta make sure you've got a good amount patience cause it can get both frustrating and depressing if you're forcing yourself everyday to get it to...

I had TillWhen up on a beta instance for quite a while before actually creating a launch and posted on Reddit and HackerNews to get feedback, there wasn't much feedback but I did get about 10-20 people who got onto the platform.
Another thing would be that if you are building a service that can be used internally, try doing that, it worked wonders for me.

I launched commitlog a few days back and while the web interface has existed for quite some while, I did make a fews modifications to modernize it.
Key Features
- Uses the latest version of commitlog
- Gives out RAW mode changelogs to be used as an API anywhere
- Gives out JSON responses as well if you'd like to reuse the output for something or extend on it.
- Dark Mode for people who'd...

This project was started as a mini tool to just generate the latest changes from previous tag to the current tagged commit and has grown with various options that you could use to manipulate the output with various flags.
The project is open source so you can always contribute.
This was a niche use case tool since I make automated release and don't always have to write changelogs that will...

TillWhen, doesn't try to compete with existing solutions.
Instead it's a product for the simplistic and minimal people out there who don't like the huge featureset of more complex solutions.
The App is still growing and collects no data other than your email which is used to create your identity on the portal and obviously the time logs you save on it.
No unnecessary marketing emails...
