None of these - I want a problem to solve and a reference to learn the vocabulary I need to Google and get things done. Interactive tutorials are best for me - stuff like the learn panel in Adobe apps these days is great. Or a good set of documentation to get that vocabulary in my head. I need to be able to try things and fail safely, and ideally, have some context about why the right answer is...

Saw this on Designer News yesterday and I love the idea - I mentioned it already there, but I'll add here that I'd love to see this expand to include leaving notes for the general public (or even groups of people, to help with scavenger hunt type things) too.
