How do you approach building a team for your startup?
I have been freelancing as a developer for years, and I've worked with a lot of startups to build their product MVP. I have always loved seeing the team rally around an idea and get it done!
But now I'm working on an idea of my own, and I'm not really sure where to start looking for other people who might be into it. I'd like to start building my tribe.
Where are your go-to places to find...

HTML is funny... it has all of these different semantic tags, yet browsers hardly enforce their specific use.
As Joonas points out, a DIV is a block-level element whereas SPAN is an inline-element. Browsers treat block/inline elements differently by default, but you can completely override that behavior using CSS.
The vast majority of websites and web applications don't follow any semantic...

You'll need to be more specific: are you using GitHub to host your website (via GitHub Pages) or just store your code in a repo (private or public)?
In either case, GitHub can be perfectly safe... but there are definitely things to consider re: security, privacy, etc. Happy to chat if you need to pick a brain.
Is GitHub safe for website development?

The less you try to “generate leads” on LinkedIn, the more successful you’ll be at it.
Create content and give it away for free. Interact with your network in a genuine way, and do it consistently (daily).
Your network will end up coming to you for your expertise and you’ll never have to “sell” anything. This strategy has worked well for me, but admittedly it’s not a scalable lead generation...
How do you do lead generation on LinkedIn today?

Developers solve problems in all kinds of ways... so having a community of other developers who can help brainstorm solutions is going to be key.
Yes, content helps... but it's hard to keep updated and cover all use cases. Also developers would rather jump into the documentation or source code.
Product/Marketing can certainly help too... but that assumes you have a rock-solid value...

I try to limit how much I work on the weekends, but sometimes you have to make hay when the sun shines. I’d say I average at least 4 hours a weekend, but sometimes it’s all work and sometimes it’s none
Be honest! Do you work on the weekends?
