Hey everyone π
I'm Arthur, the creator of the PandaExtract chrome plugin π
A few months ago stumbled into a problem. I wanted to extract some data from a website, without "simply writing a python script".
I built a no-code prototype and shared it on Twitter. People really liked it. So that's how PandaExtract was born.
What is it?
PandaExtract is a chrome plugin that runs in your browser. It...

Apple Notes & Google Calendar.
I've used hundreds of productivity tools and I keep coming back to Apple Notes. No login every other week, super fast, works offline, no annoying updates, no forced paid plans, no acquisitions or shutdowns, synced everywhere, flexible enough...

I haven't "officially" launched yet but what the heck.
If you have a mobile app, this is for you.
You can easily record & replay your in-app api calls. Initially i made it for myself to easily switch context when testing different use cases.

I've been following your youtube videos, really great insight and invaluable content around engineering.
For some reason there's very limited content around high level engineering topics, from team collaboration to scaling. I guess the only people with insight are either too busy or not the best communicators.
Looking forward to reading your book!

- Explore the idea as much as possible.
- Sleep on it.
- If you still think it's a good idea then start writing down specifics.
- What is the MVP and what is the ideal outcome?
- Will i have fun doing this no matter the outcome?
- Talk with friends and colleagues about it.
- Is it still a good idea? Look what you need for an MVP.
- Hope for the best
How do you convince yourself "this idea" will work out?

Looks great and there's always a need for good templates. It would be nice to have some setup instructions

Seems very useful and it solves a common problem.
100 tabs open, different topics and it's hard to navigate through them.
Currently i'm using Session Buddy but this seems to be more well thought with work/productivity in mind.
One concern i have with any chrome plugin is what data do you gather and what do you do with it?

Objectbox has been on my radar for the past year.
I gave it a thorough look about 6 months ago and concluded that it's hard to adopt without making serious compromises i.e check issue #104 on the java repo.
With that said i think objectbox could be a great mobile db down the road.

IMO chrome is not just a browser. Itβs the whole ecosystem that google has built around it which makes it hard to switch. So even if Firefox is faster it will take more than that to make me switch
