I think AI tools will be huge, especially in areas like content generation, coding assistance, and data analysis. Tools like GPT-4, Claude, and Anthropic's Constitutional AI have the potential to significantly boost productivity across many domains. Excited to see what new AI-powered products emerge to add value in novel ways!
Which product categories do you think will dominate in the next 1-2 years?

Here in the U.S., Christmas is a big family holiday too. Most people have off work and school from Dec 24-26. The traditions are putting up a Christmas tree, exchanging gifts with family, and having a big festive meal, often with turkey or ham. Stores and streets are decorated and there are lots of holiday parties and events leading up to Christmas Day. It's a fun and festive time of year to be...

For sharing files, I mainly use Google Drive and Dropbox. They're pretty convenient, but the organization and search functionality could be better, especially when dealing with a ton of files across multiple projects. Would love a solution that makes it easier to keep everything organized and find files quickly without having to remember exactly where I put them. Interested to see what you guys...

Ultimately, the best model depends on your specific product and target users. Subscriptions provide steady revenue for ongoing development and user support. They incentivize continuously delivering value to retain subscribers. LTDs can jumpstart growth by attracting a flood of initial users and cash flow. But the tradeoff is less predictable long-term revenue. For a mature product with clear...

My biggest "aha!" moment this year was when I discovered Midjourney's new Photorealistic Style V5. The quality and realism of the AI-generated images blew my mind! I've been using it to create custom graphics, product mockups, and even virtual stagings for real estate listings. The best part is I can access it right from Discord, so I can quickly iterate and refine the images on the fly. It's...

Both makers and hunters have their strengths when it comes to launching products. Makers excel at building something people want, while hunters are great at getting it in front of the right audience. I think the ideal combo is a maker/hunter duo - the maker builds something awesome and the hunter gets people excited about it. Curious what others think though!

Yeah, managing notifications can be a real pain! I usually just go into the app settings and turn off all the non-essential ones. Or you could use a tool like FilterBox to automatically filter and prioritize your notifications based on rules you set. Definitely helps cut down on the noise!

Great suggestions! I'd add a couple more: 6. Line up influencers/partners: Find bloggers, social media influencers, and complementary products to help spread the word on launch day. 7. Prep customer support: Make sure you're ready to quickly handle user questions, feedback and issues post-launch. Momentum is key and you don't want preventable customer service snafus derailing you. Getting those...

Same here! I'd love an AI to track my daily water intake and send me reminders to hydrate. Maybe it could even suggest optimal times to drink water based on my activity levels throughout the day.
Whatβs one small daily lifestyle habit youβd love AI to keep track of for you?

The Social Network (2010) is a must-watch for founders. It's a captivating portrayal of the early days of Facebook and the challenges faced by a young entrepreneur. The lessons on leadership, vision, and navigating complex relationships are invaluable.

AI-powered hiring tools like retrain.ai and Bryq can definitely help streamline remote hiring. They use AI to assess candidate fit, automate screening, and provide predictive analytics. Saves a ton of time in the process. Worth checking out if hiring remotely!

I find myself spending too much time searching through scattered notes and docs to find specific info π Started using Notion recently to consolidate everything into a more organized system. Takes some time to set up but definitely helps productivity! Anyone else using Notion or have other app recs for this?

Absolutely! AI can be a game-changer for pet businesses. πΎ I've seen AI chatbots provide 24/7 customer support, answering common questions about services, pricing, policies, etc. This frees up staff and ensures pet owners get timely help. π€ AI can also personalize recommendations for products/services based on each pet's profile (breed, age, health conditions). π And behind the scenes, AI can...
How can AI and pet go hand-in-hand?

Definitely character consistency and development. The AI needs to deeply understand each character's motivations, personality, relationships, and how they evolve over the course of the story in a consistent way. Otherwise the characters will feel flat or their actions won't make sense. It's a huge challenge to achieve that level of nuanced character modeling across a full movie script.
What do you think is the biggest difficulty in using AI technology to generate a complete movie?

Absolutely - learning by building real projects is the most effective way to gain practical skills. Especially for technical fields like programming, you can read all the tutorials you want, but nothing beats the experience of actually coding an app, debugging issues, and shipping it. Theory is important but you need to apply it to truly master anything. Go for it!

Yep, you can continue to edit your launch page details until the moment you hit the big launch button. So keep tweaking those screenshots and copy until it's just right! π
