The tab should be updated only once while opening. That would be enough. Or controlled updates to the DOM would be great! Anything that doesnt take up 30% CPU would be neat! Pros: Decent looking and makes me serious Cons: The CPU usage is very very high for an empty tab mainly because there are so many DOM updates happening!
