I had the privilege of beta-playing Disrupt Cards and it's HILARIOUS. Daniel, Jeremy, and Jordan did an awesome job poking fun at everything that's great (and sometimes not so great) about Silicon Valley and the tech scene.

Huh, as much praise as Norman gets for "The Design of Everyday Things", I'm surprised I haven't heard of this book before. Published in '07 so I wonder how many of his "future" designs are already taking shape.

You better believe addiction is designed. I'll bet a few of the world's top neuroscientists are making good money designing Vegas experiences.

If you're willing to re-evaluate your company's processes with fresh eyes, you'll see unnecessary complexity everywhere. Plus, since Segall worked so closely with Jobs, you'll get behind-the-scenes stories of some of Apple's most iconic products and ad campaigns.

Greater than The Great Gatsby? Greater than Hemingway's works? Someone aware me if the praise is justified.

If you're new to social media marketing, this book is a crucial 101. Social is playing the long game. Don't read the book expecting "hacks". It's great as a primer but it's your responsibility to tell great stories and interact with your customers/fans.

What are some lessons that you've learned from reading Ender's Game? Despite my friends' urging, I haven't reread it as an adult. Have you learned something from Ender's Game that has deeply impacted your life?
