I was just thinking of this the past days- I would love to have such a platform. For example, I'm desperately looking for tech people to guide me/ help me with the development, whereas I could help anyone with marketing, graphics, animations or anything else creative. So, would 9000% use it.

I'm not a major podcast listener, but I got some pretty good book recommendations lately, so I'll share them: Disciplined Entrepreneurship, The Mum Test, The Lean Startup, Tipping Point, Venture Deals.

struggling so hard with this! especially that I'm a solo hard-tech startup founder, it is maddening! if you guys have any cool communities suggestions or whatnot, please send them my way, the blog post I'm writing for my startups' blog this week is centred around tools/ communities to do exactly that- stay sane.

remote work does suck, to many many extents! but it is also a huge opportunity to democratize the way we deal with employees, build systems that are more goal based and not clocking in time and so on and so forth. i think we need to find a system that is neither remote, neither in office- something more, that that capitalize on personal freedom, on inclusion, diversity and true democracy, but...

I started focusing I'd say at least 50% of my time on content lately, even though our MVP is not ready. I'm running a hardware startup, so it will take time until we actually have something market-ready, and we need to go through some rounds of funding before that even happens. So it's hyper important to build a community, to get people talking, and to co-create this product with the community...

Hard! I try to keep a schedule- meditate in the morning, take a lunch break, go to the gym for 2 hours in the evening. But everythin gin between is nuts, as I'm working on hardware, software, community, graphics, marketing and everything else.

It's a bit tough out there! I'll share my experience, maybe it helps. I was in the same position, really wanting to get to know more people I could speak to and broaden my horizons, but I really had no idea how to do it. So I first tried cold methods- posting on forums about what I'm doing and asking if anyone would be interested to speak, posting on LinkedIn, posting on the YC Startup School...

I wouldn't. And thinking of a world where 99% of the people aren't high-tech accustomed, I think there is a lot of fear and unclarity around data security and giving up personal details, which actually gets people to be a lot more paranoid when asked directly to do so, rather than when our data is subliminally processed. So I think it would be a big question mark for a lot of people.

I haven't gotten there yet, as I'm running a hardware startup and just finishing up the MVP so we can start having first demo calls with people. But I'll throw the ideas in here, maybe it helps you. a bit of a newbie here- how do you even get hunters to notice your product in the first place?

I had a first crack at launching my upcoming hardware product on ship- I got 2 subscribers, one of them being myself haha. It's true it was just an initial test and I didn't put all that much effort into it, but as I'm prepping for a serious upcoming campaign soon, any feedback is welcome!

I've seen in my own startup as well, if I just go and directly contact someone with the goal of sharing my product, they shut down and ignore you and you can loose really great leads like that.
