I struggle with this every day! I have a travel tech company creating tailored travel guides (remember when we used to travel?). I'll break up my workload into 4 buckets: operations (serve existing users), marketing (get new users), funding (get money), recruiting (build a team). I spend almost all of my time on operations and marketing, and will make time for recruiting and fundraising when...

Hey makers,
I started a trip planning service that combines AI with human expertise to create personalized travel guides for every trip, currently targeting the NY, LA and SF markets. (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/folio-travel)
We're refining various elements of the product and would love some feedback on the survey we're using to collect trip information and traveler...

Super excited to try this! Can you make shared lists, for example, groceries?

Hey Cody, I've been setting up Zoom or Google Meet meetings and asking for permission to record for my notes. I used to do phone meetings, actually, but the pandemic has made video much more standard and I've found it really helps with building rapport with my users. As for recruiting, I've been posting on PH and some Facebook groups with mixed results. A friend suggested Slack channels so...

Having a mailing list (mostly friends and family, and friends of friends) really helped - it got me my first 30-40 users. I would also try the Start Up School community. It's free from YC and I've made a few really great connections there (including a founder with a streaming site who let me advertise on it for free). In hindsight though, I would have worked to optimize the conversion funnel...

This is great and so needed! Maybe consider updating the category icons to be color-coded based on the situation at each airport, for example a green check if there is a COVID testing facility, and a red X if there isn't.

Hi all! I recently launched a product to help people get out of the city by researching nearby destinations, including what restaurants and things to do are reopening. I would love:
1. Feedback on the website: https://getaway.foliotravel.com
2. Beta users who'd be willing to test out this product for free
Thanks in advance for the feedback, and feel free to email me directly!
