Boy, you want to talk about timing? Zoom came out at just the right time, and captured a huge audience that needed a way to videoconference. I use Google Chat and Skype, depending on the technical ability of the person I'm talking to. They don't have the time limitations that Zoom has. But Zoom has to be the easiest for most people, and so a lot of the people I know ended up buying a subscription. Which is fine. If I need to use it for more than 20 minutes with someone, we just time out and dial in again. No problem.
