Sonara started out good — I actually found a role using it in the earlier phases (although it was a job I selected and applied to outside of sonara). The product quality has significantly declined and the price can’t be justified. If you can afford it, then it doesn’t hurt to use it, but if you’re seriously looking for a job, then be cautious. It also greatly depends on your industry.
The job offerings have seemed to fall off in quality and quantity and the applications when read back need work. Jobs that have been applied to are often ‘no longer available’ but Sonara doesn’t credit you back for applications that essentially never went anywhere.
They don’t auto apply on the weekends which seems quite arbitrary and doesn’t make sense. Why not give users the option to auto apply each day or have the setting of changing how many jobs you choose vs sonara chooses.
I’ve been comparing sonara and usemassive and so far I have more experience with sonara, but the quality of jobs between the two are night and day — sonara needs an update to where ever they are pulling jobs from.
Hopefully it gets better, but it’s definitely gotten worse since its debut. Other options are popping up that are more effective and a better value.
