Great concept (shoutout to Deckset and Slideas for tackling it earlier) and iA Presenter seems to be the one that's closer to get things right. That's great.
However, I hate this design-snobbish notion that every presentation is a story and a TED-talk/Apple Keynote. Not all presentations are a story, some are an update across multiple items, require complex and filled slides.
So, to fully use this I need:
1. Full custom layout for slides supporting titles, subtitles, page numbers, etc.
2. Grouping slides by chapter (the indentation tree seems to work)
3. Hiding slides
4. Collaboration via commenting
Hope this will be added for me to ditch Keynote and Google Slides.
iA Presenter is absolutely amazing, congrats to the team on the product & launch! I got access to it a couple of months back and happily and confidently used it for real world projects. Now if it doesn't get in the top #3 something is def wrong with PH (I'm looking at you buying/selling upvotes 🤬)
Congratulations on the launch! After using iA Presenter in beta these past few months, I can't imagine going back to another presentation app. Nothing else looks as clean or elegant, nor do they make it as easy to compose and deliver a presentation.
This is an excellent application and way of creating a narrative and ensuring that you are complete in your explanations when you present. As an early beta tester and now paid customer, I highly recommend this software and approach to present. I use it and have never had a problem during presentations or during the creation process.
It simply changed how I approach my presentations and made things much more easier for me. Being Markdown centric is a major plus for me, fits perfectly into my workflow with iA Writer and Obsidian.
