I stumbled upon Gelato when looking for a solution to being able to liquidate underwater positions in DeFi protocols, and to do so automatically by using a tool that constantly checks for the condition I select, and then executes when that condition is found.
As someone who trades crypto full-time, this scenario mentioned above is a massive opportunity that exists, but is typically won by bots. So Gelato's easy to use interface is what won me over, because I realized learning to become a developer and trader simultaneously is quite difficult, so as I continue learning to code, I can already automate many of the ideas I have by using this tool.
Gelato has been nothing but great experience for me thus far amongst the other automation tooling that exists for Web3 - and I love that the focus is on being the main hub for Web3 automation going forward.
I don't think people appreciate how large the market will be for automation - it will be huge and I think Gelato is a solid contender to win it all. I started automating things like claiming staked token awards, building out time spaced executions of certain purchases, and then that was when the creativity floodgates really hit me with what Gelato can do...basically *anything* you can creatively think of!
If you generally believe in the notion that software is eating the world (and it has been for 20 years, well crypto and blockchain is the final iteration of this - and with automation the critical core of it all. Love the product and tool and team! And the name... :)
