I've been using Figma as my primary digital design tool for several months now, and I can confidently say that it has transformed the way I approach my illustration work.
As an illustrator, one of the most significant aspects I value is the fluidity and ease of drawing. Figma offers a sleek and intuitive interface that makes my drawing process seamless. The Pen tool, in particular, is excellent, and the controls are precise. With a little practice, it's become second nature to me.
Another feature that I appreciate is the vector networks. The ability to manipulate points and paths without switching tools is such a time-saver. I can easily adjust my work as I go, making the entire process more efficient.
Collaboration in Figma is unlike any other tool I've used. The ability to co-edit in real-time and receive instant feedback has made working with teams and clients smoother and more effective. In the past, revisions were time-consuming and often confusing, but Figma has made this process incredibly straightforward.
One of the best things about Figma, though, is that it is browser-based. I can access my work from any device, anywhere, without needing to sync or transfer files. This flexibility has significantly improved my work-life balance.
That being said, there is still some room for improvement. I'd love to see more advanced features for illustrators in the future, such as a broader range of brush options and more complex texture capabilities. This would allow even greater creative freedom.
In conclusion, Figma has been an invaluable tool in my illustration work. It's transformed my creative process, making it more efficient and collaborative. Despite some areas for growth, I highly recommend Figma to any illustrator looking to streamline their workflow and improve their team collaboration.
I'm looking forward to seeing what new features Figma will introduce in the future. For now, it has earned its place as an essential tool in my creative arsenal.
When it comes to design tools like Figma, I must admit that as a non-designer, it can feel quite challenging to get the hang of it due to its steep learning curve. However, I have discovered a gem within the Figma ecosystem called Figjam that I absolutely adore.
Figjam offers an intuitive and user-friendly experience, making it more accessible to users like myself who may not have a background in design. It allows me to effortlessly create diagrams and brainstorm ideas using sticky notes, which has proven to be incredibly valuable. The simplicity and versatility of Figjam's interface make it a joy to work with.
The main helper in my second job. Thanks to figma and its functionality, it was possible to earn additional income.
Great tool. Waiting for AI & NO-CODE to be integrated, and take it to the next level
