This artwork has been created the 20th of january by an artificial intelligence, in Paris. It raises the question of creativity, as expressed by a machine.
Technology used
This artwork has been created using the latest machine learning techniques, and more specifically Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). The CDGAN model we used has been trained on a Nvidia Tesla V100. We used ADAM as an optimization algorithm, on a batch of 32, and for 839 epochs.
The artwork
The artwork is unique, has been printed once and signed by the artificial intelligence’s maker. The print is 50 x 50, while the frame is 65 x 65. It has been printed at L’atelier clos, using high quality inkjet on canvas. The frame is made of wood and gold leaves.
