ZipBooks is what we think accounting should be. It aims to simplify bookkeeping dramatically and help small businesses solve what's often their biggest problem - getting cash in the bank when they need it. When a ZipBooks user sends an invoice, we can finance it right away, so money shows up in our users' bank account usually in less than 24 hours--even though their client may wait 30 days or longer to pay. We get paid back over time with low, transparent fees.
Because we make money on invoice financing, we don't charge a subscription for using ZipBooks. No tiers, and no limits on any of our features. It's all just free. (And no ads, either!)

About to launch a system that automatically notifies you when you've paid over $600 to someone, asks them to fill out a w4 (it emails them a pdf and they can email it back), and then attaches the w4 to their profile in Paynote. When you need to run taxes, you can have 1099's auto generate and download for anyone you have paid that needs them sent.
I like the Instant Payments feature (you can send someone an invoice and ZipBooks can finance it, so you can get paid right away, no waiting around). Smart…
Love love love ZipBooks - Easy to use, no tedious 50 step setup process - you can get up and running in less than five minutes. Every single time I've had a question the team has been quick to respond and helpful.
The app is dead simple to get started with, create new invoices, and manage time on accounts.
I can't stand lengthy account setups or bloated feature sets. (I'm looking at you, Quickbooks)
Its like an old-school Apple product; no user manual needed.
I have been waiting for ZipBooks for about 4 years now!
I exist as a small business in that niche area where I usually only have 5-6 clients at a time, but three of them are long term ventures where I need recurring billing.
I was always stuck bouncing from one level of service to another on Freshbooks and Quickbooks. They never seemed to have the right feature set for me, and often when they did, it was just out of reach and came along with a ton of stuff I simply wouldn't use.
ZipBooks solves that problem completely, and the price point is perfect. I actually TRY to get my clients to pay via the online system so ZipBooks will get their cut. They deserve to be paid for the fantastic service, and top notch customer support.
Oh yes another word on support. Its FANTASTIC. I have had terrible experiences with other paid services. No such issue with Zipbooks. Partially because it just WORKS, and partially because the support team is always there with a quick answer. And let's be honest, my support tickets are because I can't figure something out, not from a failure in the product.

I've been using ZipBooks for a couple of months now and I'm digging it. It's super simple to use & has the power that makes my life easy! Happy to see you guys here.
I don't think I am using ZipBooks to its full potential and it still does lots more then needed. It runs fast on every platform i have tried it on (Web(MacOS), iPhone 5 and 6).

Zipbooks is an amazing product. As a freelancer I needed something simple and inexpensive. Zipbooks was just that. It is very mobile as it works well on the phone. I get notifications as soon as I get paid on different projects. You can setup recurring invoices (for free...let's take a moment and laugh at Quickbooks). It is everything a freelancer needs. I also see this being something that will be able to integrate as I grow. The time tracker is not something that I use as of now, but it will be necessary down the line. Great product. On top of that, the support that Zipbooks provide is top of the line. Brad Hanks has been there to help answer questions whenever I might would have one. Great product, great team.
