If you want to manage your inbox, and it usually takes an effort, this app "takes the biscuit".

Is there an Android version coming soon?
Alex Volkov
@shaburov Not soon enough but it is definitely coming! We want to complete the product on iOS platform and fix all of the little and big things we need to address before moving on to Android.

I mostly do 3 things in mail apps in my phone 1) DELETE ( left ) , I do it in mail app 2) READ mostly in inbox 3) archive 4) respond by checking my inbox in my computer is there any way to customize or do 1 click delete, archive I wish , app detect the emails and if it is promotion the main action will be delete, if it same company like @movielala, it will be respond later, archive , can we do it in zero?
Alex Volkov
@sahinboydas Yes the customization option for swipe up exists in Application Settings. You can chose swipe up to be Archive or Delete. So if you prefer to delete emails when you swipe up they will be moved to trash. Also depending on what is your swipe up setting is set to (Archive or Delete) the button on the email card will dynamically change to show the other option. So you can always do both with one tap/click or swipe. We are working on making the cleaning, sorting and archiving process smarter. So soon you will be able to swipe up and move emails from specific sender like facebook, travelzoo, expedia or even jira or bitbucket to some specific folder. You will be able to specify one time where emails from certain senders should be moved and every time you swipe the email will be moved to that destination instead of just archive or delete.

Yay, single swipe FTW! Alex, do you have an estimate of how much time does Zero save?
Alex Volkov
@uniquedima We have been running various tests and estimates range from 15%-30% It depends on how many emails you have per day and how many of them you actually need to do something with VS how many you simply want to discard. Having ability to focus on one email at a time and preview larger summary of the email does play a significant role in helping user understand the context of the message and the action it requires. Also important factor to consider is that the summary still gives you a fuller picture and even if you end up discarding the message you still have a higher chance of staying informed. Last but not least, most time saving comes from Zero's ability to go to the next message and clean the inbox with one action. (swipe up) In traditional app, after you are done with bird-picking the content you thought was important, you still have to go back and do something with the rest. Zero saves the most time to people that want to stay organized and keep their inbox clean. (InboxZero)

Thanks for hunting us @bramk! Zero is a new type of email app that presents unique and interesting take on sorting emails by relevance and importance. Its original card-style social feed like format allows sorting of incoming emails surprisingly fast and easy. Signal-to-noise ratio in today's communications is a huge problem and Zero is built to help people reduce this overload. Think of it as of your personal Google PageRank for your inbox.

Does the app store personal info on its servers?
Alex Volkov
@mrbdooo Zero is focused on user privacy. Our prioritization algorithms and entire user experience are designed to keep user's personal information private and secure. Everything stays on the phone. Messages or contacts are not offloaded to third party servers for processing or storage.

Android/Web?

It's a great app, no doubt; well designed and functionally responsive. But not all apps need to be everything for all; that is, allow a user to select whether they want an all-in-one or not. Allow the user to select to use the calendar and email feature or just email alone. Is this a big deal? No, it's not.

It's nice to clear the junk out of the inbox and have view options. I've been following this team for a while now; their updates have been well thought out and the app is great.

Pros:

Functionally, it achieves what I want: solid email management.

Cons:

Make the calendar feature optional.
