Hey PH! We’re super excited to introduce ZEPETO Studio. Since we launched ZEPETO a year and half ago, we’ve seen a ton of people use our avatars to create new and exciting content. But after receiving continued requests to enable users to create their own items, we’re now rolling out our studio, where anyone can create and sell virtual apparel or accessories within minutes. We have a couple people from the team here on PH and will do our best to answer your questions. Really looking forward to seeing your creations!

@rlvl Hi thank you so much for this opportunity but I tried Unity and still can't figure out how it works even with the tutorial.. Would it be possible to have a vid tutorial or an easier way to create our own items for beginners like me? Thank you in advance!

Hi sir.. Good morning does this means we can create items using our cell phone?
Rudy Lee
@notme_irl great idea we agree we need more content to help onboarding!

@rlvl Good day Sir can we create clothes on our phones? if not, then can you make it possible?

@rlvl Hi. Thank you for creating Zepeto. I submitted a custom design. How long does it take for the design to be approved after submitting? The design now is under Inactive status.

Love Zepeto. Great that they finally opened up their outfits to public! Pros - 1. Easy to make virtual outfits, using templates, for 2D Designers like me. 2. Make money from home when all the freelancing gigs are all dried up. 3. Super cute! Cons - 1. Importing into Unity can be a bit tricky. 2. Have to sign up on Zepeto first before using it.

@jason_green1 Thanks so much! Glad you're excited about Studio! Would love to get your feedback after you try it out!

Hello! I play on android, and I want to create my own clothes, but I don’t understand how it works. it was also good if it was possible to translate Zepeto into Russian, because nothing is clear, please tell us in more detail how to register and how to make clothes. Is it possible to do it from an Android phone? Answer please(
Ricky Kang
@viktorika Thank you for your suggestion. We are working hard to add Russian to Zepeto by June. For how to make clothes, please check out this guide. https://studio.zepeto.me/home/gu...

@viktorika @heesuk_ricky_kang Hi thank you for this and the guide but Unity doesn't show the same things as in the guide so I don't know how to make items. Could you make a more detailed one or a video? Or can we use other apps? Thank you.
Ricky Kang
@viktorika @notme_irl here are some videos that could help!

@heesuk_ricky_kang Thank you it helped a lot! It was pretty hard at first got the hang of it now! I just wanted to ask: - Is there a limit to the number of items we submit every day? I think I sent too much oops - Can we delete drafts please? I have many that were just tests - Can we delete submitted items that are not accepted yet? Thanks in advance!

@heesuk_ricky_kang @notme_irl yes omg I need to be able to delete some items that haven't been approved of yet! and some drafts too, also, how long did it take for your items to be reviewed? I submitted mine about two weeks ago

Thank you creating it but it will very helpful if zepeto add something to help creators of the cloth to find their own cloth at the store. I find it difficult to find my own cloth that i create in store.
Ricky Kang
@nur_syahira_twoninesix Absolutely. We are working on that feature as you speak! Thanks for your suggestion, Nur!

Zepeto Studio is the only place I work for. I made my first personal clothing creation for the first time. Although I'm not into 3D Modelling, but I am more are of 2D Graphics, Vector Art, and Logo Making. This is where graphic artist should work on, if they arr interested in making vlothing creations for a mobile application.
Ricky Kang
@cedie_narciso You are right! We want to offer to all designers ways to realize their vision into a product with relative ease. Our users are loving all the user created outfits, and hope more designers join our platform.

Hi! I have been trying to do designs in Maya but the thing I don't understand is how to export from Maya to Unity? I have tryd "export selection" and I export to unity but there the folder dose not have the design. What should I do? Please help me I really want to do my own designs.
Madona Al-khameesi
Hi! I really love zepeto! And I love the idea of zepeto studio. I have already designed a lot of things but just with 2d/unity. I have many ideas but I find I hard to understand and create thing in Maya. I wish that you could create somthing that make it easier for us to create our own design.
Ricky Kang
@hanin Hi Madona, you are right - we will continue to work on it :)
Hera Ahn
Hi, I've made some 3D designs for zepeto. I'm an instagram filter creator too. I talked about this to my korean friend who's a 3D designer, she's living in the UK, but she said the payment is too low for someone who's living in the UK. I just wanna tell you that maybe if you raise the payment, it would attract more 3D designers around the world.
Ricky Kang
@hera_ahn Thanks for your input. We are starting to see few designers who are taking good side income in just couple of weeks, so hopefully it becomes more worthwhile for 3D designers around the world!

how do I create clothes?😊
Jazzmin Kasha King
Hello, I have been playing ZEPETO for over a year now. The game has changed a lot for me and the clothing I’ve been able to create makes it even better. I love being able to make creative, signature designs all from my computer! Thank you for everything you do for us! Keep it up!
Ricky Kang
@lalunakitty Thanks for your kind words Jazzmin!

This is such an exciting new opportunity! I've been with Zepeto since it's early launch, I am amazed to see how much it has changed & improved. Since Zepeto Studio was announced, I've been very passionate about not only creating my items, but also helping others learn to use the software to create their items. I've posted a few tutorials to YouTube to share my computer/design knowledge with others, but I'm quickly becoming overwhelmed with floods of questions that I cannot answer since I do not work for the zepeto team. I hope very soon there will be more visual resources for beginners who are struggling with creating. There is no shortage of creativity within the zepeto community but we need more support. Thank you so much for all of your hard work!
Rudy Lee
@pedia Thanks so much! Where can I see your tutorials?
Olivier Zetlers
@pedia i'm the CEO of Yokai.ai It'd be great to get in touch with you for a special project. Could you please contact me through our website? 🙏

I've already enjoyed most of Zepeto's outfits but I truly adore the idea of people being able to express and shate their own creations with others. During this time of the pandemic, it's really hard for some people to keep themselves occupied when staying inside and need another outlet to prevent themselves from falling into boredom. I do have a question regarding the whole "make money from home" part of the overview for this studio. I'm hoping you meann actual real money because if so it would be a great help to those around the world who are in desperate need of some sort of income in order to help provide for themselves and/or their family. However, I'm assuming you mean make zep coin money? Aside from that, I haven't actually tried the studio out yet but once I do I'll make sure to post my review regarding it. Overall thank you for this artistic opportunity for designers and artists alike to try their hand at making clothes and jewelry to share to the world and I'm so excited to see what others have and will create!😊
Ricky Kang
@artemis_wolf Yes, you can make "actual" money once you hit the 5000 ZEM mark (your share of the revenue from the items sold)

As a creator and a working artist, I was very excited about a feature where anyone can make and submit their own designs to public players. I still think this concept is very inspiring, fun, and community friendly. I am also responsible enough to read through the terms and agreements properly because I also need to take into consideration the time and worth of my hard work. The initial statement I agreed to was the conversion of 1,500 ZEMS to 107 USD (around April 10, 2020). I felt that this was fair. I have sold many items already with my balance now reaching 700 ZEMs. This is from intensive hours I've poured into designing for my friends and the Zepeto community. However, just yesterday (April 22, 2020), I was surprised when I happened to check that the payout policy suddenly changed the conversion rate to 5,000 ZEMs to 106 USD. This means that If I earned 1,500 Zems I would only be able to cash out for 31.8 USD (1,500 / 5,000 x 106 = 31.8 USD) instead of 106 USD as originally intended. With this significant change I am only getting a cutout fraction of 30%, 70% (70% x 106 = 74.2 USD) of what I would make is now taken out by Zepeto. This means every 31.8 USD I make, Zepeto will make 74.2 USD. How is this fair? Many users probably also overlooked this because there was no announcement of this change. I understand that under Terms and Agreement that Zepeto may change the conversion rate of Zems to USD at any time. However, I believe the failure to inform studio users like me is very inconsiderate and shows lack of courtesy. It makes me very disappointed and betrayed that Zepeto would take out 70% of my earnings behind my back. This is how I truly feel. I am now discouraged from making and selling any items. I hope the creators can see this and respond because I still love the concept of Zepeto Studio. It would be nice to reach a compromise where creators and the provider can agree on.
Ricky Kang
@karolyn_zheng Hi KZ, thanks for sharing your experience. For every sale, there are two common fees : App Store/Google Play in-app purchase fees (30%) that are charged on every ZEM package purchase and Paypal and/or bank fees of about 10%. After taking out the common fees, we then split the revenue 50:50 with the creators, ending up with 30% of the total sale each. The 1500 ZEMS to 107 USD exchange rate (subject to change due to real fluctuations in exchange rates) should have referred to the creator's share of the revenue, not the Gross Revenue. Hope this explanation helps! We are working on various ways to reward popular, prolific creators. Please stay tuned!
KZ
@heesuk_ricky_kang Hi Ricky, thank you very much for your prompt response. I'm looking forward to the ways for rewarding popular, prolific creators before I make further efforts.

@rlvl, we are developing biz on retail industry, do you have the API that allow our user to use their own zepeto avatar on oue web or platform? is their any way that we can work with zepto to achive that?
