Introducing ZenHub Automated Workflows. Bring workflow automation to GitHub Issues and connect teams in a matter of seconds. Avoid hand-off delays and ensure the status of work is always accurate.
Hello Hunters!
I'm Devin, a product manager at ZenHub.
ZenHub was created to bring project managers into the development lifecycle rather than force developers to do their work in GitHub and then update the status of tickets in Asana or Jira or wherever. This way, we automate how issues are moved and updated exactly when the status of a pull request changes. Less work for developers, more accurate project statuses for the team.
One thing we've noticed in ZenHub (and in other project management tools) is the lack of communication between teams and easily figuring out the progress of multiple teams. We released Workspaces last year which allowed development teams to create Kanban boards and generate reports out of GitHub repositories but the Workspaces (and teams using them) didn't have a way to communicate with one another.
Today, we are thrilled to announce Automated Workflows, the first solution of its kind that brings workflow automation to project management and development tasks all within GitHub. With Automated Workflows, ZenHub users get an accurate understanding of the progress of multiple teams and avoid delays by automating hand-offs between them.
We’re incredibly excited to see how it’s used at an individual, team, and business level.
We built this based on feedback from our community and are always grateful for more, so don’t hesitate to share!
