Zeneca — Share and discuss your favorite books with the world.

Excellent idea and a potentially useful product. Personally I’m not a big fan of the design though. The drop shadows are too strong, the illustrations beneath the headings so detailed that they look like a smudge unless you zoom in. A single-column layout would work better on desktop; now that there are two columns, if one of them has fewer books than the other, it creates a lot of empty space and doesn’t look consistent.

I love books and I love linking products. It has both. So deserve my upvote. I think it will become the default way to share your books. It can also provide bibliophile creators to monetize more.

Hey PH! The backstory of Zeneca What would you do if you had 10 million dollars? I was thinking about this, and I told my cofounder Joe, that the the most important difference in my life would be that I would get a house with a large personal library. He thought, well, he can't get me a real library, but what about a virtual one instead? That got us excited. We looked around, and found existing solutions were a bit meh. Most people share their books in plaintext. What if there was a space where you could showcase your books and be proud? Zeneca's goal is to do just that. We hope it is a canvas for you to share books with your community, and discover what others read. Right now, that's the two things things you can do. You can share books and get a cool handle, like this: www.zeneca.io/joe www.zeneca.io/stopa And, you can find people who have similar books (see screenshot) Soon, you'll see activity, be able to form communities, and engage in discussion. Interesting. Seeing the explore tab update to list users you share common books adds a charm. Also helps discover similar books in the category. Love the clean UI. Suggestion - Allow for custom links to the specific bookshelf. Let's say I want to share my list of 'My Books to read in 2021', should be able to share that specific bookshelf instead of the entire library through profile URL. Looking forward to the updates and see this grow! Congratulations!
