From the announcement page:
"When we started Zendesk almost 10 years ago, our goal was pretty simple: Bring a sense of calm to the chaotic world of customer service. We’ve come a long way working alongside customers like you.
But we think we can do a lot more together.
For too long, business software has been one-sided: Built for the business at the expense of customers. It was designed around corporate departments, not customer experiences. Customers expect a single experience and conversation with companies, and that requires software designed for both sides of the relationship.
Today, we’re launching the new Zendesk, built for better customer relationships."

A product family
Zendesk has evolved from a single customer service product to a new, unified family of products focused on improving customer relationships. Our product family helps organizations understand their customers, improve communication, and offer support where and when it’s needed most.
We’ve created a common user interface across all of the products, making it easy to move among them and add new ones along the way. Toggling among products is as simple as visiting the product tray in the upper right corner."
Exciting news from Zendesk today. Including the launch of 3 new products with:
1. Explore - https://www.producthunt.com/post...
2. Message - https://www.producthunt.com/post...
3. Connect - https://www.producthunt.com/post...
@samboonin reg. 'Message' where are things now/what is roadmap or product philosophy on bots vs agents. Handoff complimentary approach etc.
Any thoughts @chrismessina?
@jcwinter it's much more actually. The team has been working hard on a whole new data platform across Zendesk products, improving scalability, adding i18n and a few other things, and brought the BIME UI into the Zendesk family.
The new UI really looks great, it's unfortunate that all the press I've seen from Zendesk is about their "rebranding" and new product logos which IMO is not so great. The video above drives that point home, it is basically just a showcase for the new blocky, triangley, shapey icons, ending with "Reintroducing Zendesk. It looks like this now." with a shot of all the product logos, not what it actually looks like. I actually had to sign up for a trial just to see what Zendesk actually looks like and how much cleaner it is now, which I wouldn't have ever done had someone not uploaded a screenshot here on PH because I've been so turned off by the designerspeak around the 3.0 launch.
