Hi Everyone, Six months ago to the day, I launched Writing for Software Developers on Product Hunt. Today, thanks to Gumroad's 14DayProduct Challenge, I'm back with Cold Email for Interesting People. The first thing to realize is that sending a polite email to someone you don’t know is a totally reasonable and acceptable thing to do. The second thing to realize is that you don’t need to know any secret passwords or follow any fixed patterns to get a great response. There are best practices that can increase your chances of success and skills that you can practice to improve the quality of your outreach, but the only secret in cold email is how easy and approachable it is. Much of my success tracks directly to cold emails that I've sent over the past few years. I created this product to help other people make similar leaps in their own career. It is pay-what-you-want, so that everyone can get it, but if you have the means, I'd appreciate your payment for the product. In the comments, I'd love to hear about cold emails that you sent that altered the course of your career or life.
