π Wrangle is the easiest way to manage approval and ticketing workflows in Slack. Tame the chaos of busy channels and see why Slack chose Wrangle as a "Featured App." Combine intake forms, approvals, and tasks into the workflow you need.
Thanks for hunting us @kevin!
We're excited to launch Wrangle today on Product Hunt.
If you're frustrated by trying to manage requests in Slack, tired of work slipping through the cracks, and fed up with nagging people for approval, we built Wrangle for you. Check out why Slack's team chose us as their Featured App in May.
π What is Wrangle? π
Wrangle is the easiest way to manage approval requests in Slack. It's ideal for recurring approval and ticketing workflows.
Wrangle is a Slack App that lets you design no-code workflows to manage requests from your colleagues. You can build a workflow with a custom intake form that kicks off any number of approvals or task checklists.
But the real value of Wrangle is in monitoring all the requests going through your workflow. Wrangle has a single dashboard to see all the approvals and tasks, across all channels, so you can find work dropping through the cracks. Plus, Wrangle tracks and exports the full history of everything for compliance and analytics.
π How do people use Wrangle? π
Some teams use Wrangle to kick-off a quick approval, to review a single document or design. Or to assign ad-hoc tasks.
But the most effective teams use Wrangle for recurring approval workflows and requests from other teams. Here are some ways people are using it:
β Engineering: Feature requests, bug reporting, SOC 2 requests, IT change management
β HR: employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding
β Sales: quote approval, pipeline forecasting, contract management
β Marketing: blog post approval, marketing collateral requests
β Facilities: help tickets, repair requests, purchase sign-off
β Finance: budget approval, expenses, new vendor/PO approvals
π How can you get started? π
Wrangle is free to use for as many one-off approvals or task lists as you want and up to 2 reviewers on recurring approval workflows. So head over to wrangle.io to add it to your Slack workspace and try it out!
I have only just scratched the surface of what is possible with Wrangle, and it's been fantastic so far. I absolutely loathe added processes, especially ones that take you out of context in what you're working on, but as we have gone from 10-65+ employees, and a solutions team of 1 to a team of 5, its been important to formalize some of our internal processes to not lose anything in the cracks. Having everything in slack, where we are already working, and being able to push data into other places for tracking and reporting has been immensely helpful.
At Kevel, we have been using Wrangle to handle approvals for enterprise contracts and it's vastly superior to previous email threads and slack conversations. We keep it all in slack and it's very clear when each person has approved, and who is left to approve.
Keeping decisions and records in Slack is the next big wave.
Love Wrangle. As a remote team it's awesome to see the engagement on Slack (especially the GIFs), but we needed a bit more structure to make sure nothing gets dropped. Nice job @adambsmith
Love this product! It is a godsend to Ops leaders who feel like work is getting lost in the 'noise' of Slack. As a consultant, I find it a really easy recommendation to my clients and they've had a lot of success using it. Definitely give it a shot!
I wish we had this back at Automated Insights. With 100 ppl on countless channels and DMβs in Slack key requests would constantly get lost. It is just to easy to miss/lose messages, dragging out decisions. Also it is nearly impossible to go back and find who made certain decisions in Slack. This fixes all that. Awesome job guys
I was an early user of Wrangle about a year ago - it was a great product then and they've made great improvements. Happy to see that they've also focused on Slack, rather than workflow automation inside their own webapp.
Also great to see Durham, a.k.a. Bull City, get more software into the world!
All hail Wrangle for revolutionizing our product team workflow when we were scaling fast and getting tons of product requests from internal teams! We used Wrangle's Slack plug-in to give employees a single method of submitting requests to Product. Each request then kicked off a workflow that alerted the right Product Manager, enabled them to reject or approve it, and prompted an automated task list for them to check off. This process made it easier than ever to streamline communication internally and ensure that our team was able to follow through on all requests.
I could not be more thankful to the Adams (Wrangle founders) for giving us the gift of Wrangle, and taking our product process to the next level. Everyone go check out this amazing new tool!
Wrangle has done so much to streamline our processes. Using the workflows makes communication and clarity so much easier in our hiring process. With Wrangle, we can keep the team up to date on internal processes, and eliminate questions along the way. I really love the built-in approvals and the easy-to-understand interface within slack. So much is done in Slack, but it can get lost so easily. Wrangle delivers on its name and keeps things organized.
As a startup we run on slim margins but we needed to a way to automate and streamline our security compliance needs that was affordable. Wrangle has allowed us to build out some approval workflows that otherwise would have to be tracked and done manually, likely resulting in human error. Thx wrangle!
