Wrangle fixes broken processes β making sure everyone knows the steps, whose turn it is, and what got done. Map and automate your workflow. Get approvals in minutes. Integrated with Slack and Zapier.
Hey Hunters! πAdam here, co-founder of Wrangle. We're excited to be launching! π
Wrangle is easy, no-code process automation for growing teams. We help with recurring, team-to-team hand-offs β customer onboarding, sales contract approval, new hire onboarding, etc. With Wrangle, everyone knows the steps in the process, whose turn it is, and what got done. We give everyone an easy way to give approvals, fill out forms, and complete tasks. Thanks to our deep integration with Slack, you can do all this in the chat interface your team is already in.
- Diagram your process visually
- Then Wrangle notifies people in Slack (or email) when it's their turn to take action
- See the status of all work in the process and who you're waiting on
We're so excited to see what you use Wrangle for. Our free plan gives you 5 user accounts and unlimited processes, so jump in and try it out. Our paid plan is $12 a user per month.
π€ So why did we make Wrangle?
For over 5 years, @adambsmith and I were executives at a 100-person, growing startup. As the company grew from a small group of 10 to a company of 100 employees with departments and layers of management, gaps in communication and silos emerged. Groups were feuding, work got dropped, and employees started leaving. As we added product lines, remote teams, and countless new SaaS applications, the operational strain got worse.
We spent much of our time designing processes to try to make it clear how things should flow and who was responsible, only to spend all of our time following up to see if things were working. We tried to solve the problem in a myriad of ways, from Trello to Excel to Confluence to company meetings, but none of them really worked. Those products were oriented around tasks, but this was a problem that spanned communication, approvals, tasks, and decisions.
We always thought there had to be a better way. We wanted software for managing human processes, rather than projects. So we built it.
π How does Wrangle work?
The first thing you do in Wrangle is diagram the steps visually. With a click, you can add approvals, task lists, or form inputs. You can assign who should do the step and how long it should take. You can even do parallel paths, or conditional steps (like getting VP approval for contracts over a certain size).
Next, Wrangle turns your diagram into action. When an employee fills out the intake form (on the web or in our Slack app) to start the process, we automatically Slack or email the people assigned to the next step. They get one-click buttons to approve, request changes, complete tasks, or input data. When they're done, we repeat this for the next person or group in the flow.
Finally, we track everything. You can immediately see where work is, who it's waiting on, and who gave approval or completed steps. No more manually nagging people or searching through Slack DMs to figure out what's happening.
All of this is integrated with over 2000 of the apps you use, via Zapier. You can kick of a process when action is taken in an app, like your CRM. Then, when the process is done, you can push form data collected by Wrangle to those apps.
π What kinds of things can you use Wrangle for?
- Sales: lead acceptance, quote approval
- Customer success: client onboarding, services approvals
- Legal: contract approval
- Marketing: campaign sign-off, RFP responses
- HR: PTO, employee reviews, employee onboarding
- Procurement / Finance: vendor approval, processing invoices
The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) team has been using Wrangle for a couple months now, and we can't say enough great things about it. With Wrangle, we've been able to easily automate processes related to finance, HR and customer success. Instead of spending valuable time chasing each other down for information, Wrangle does the work for us, notifying the correct team member in the correct order of when tasks need to be done. Not to mention it integrates directly into Slack which is our team's primary communication tool. Wrangle has streamlined and improved important processes for CED and we're just getting started!
Said no business ever: "all our multi-step processes run flawlessly, and they are so easy to maintain".
Get Wrangle. Solve that problem.
For example, we have a project with a content review process. Multiple internal and external parties need to review, take an action, and/or comment on each step of the process. It's painful. Wrangle makes it easy to take a flow chart of how things *should* work, and map it to a functional business process.
All hail Wrangle for revolutionizing our product team workflow when we were scaling fast and getting tons of product requests from internal teams! We used Wrangle's Slack plug-in to give employees a single method of submitting requests to Product. Each request then kicked off a workflow that alerted the right Product Manager, enabled them to reject or approve it, and prompted an automated task list for them to check off. This process made it easier than ever to streamline communication internally and ensure that our team was able to follow through on all requests.
I could not be more thankful to the Adams (Wrangle founders) for giving us the gift of Wrangle, and taking our product process to the next level. Everyone go check out this amazing new tool!
