I hadn't played much WoW before, but I've been having a great time with this. Highly recommend checking it out even if you're new to the game.
So much time lost to the original. Tempted to revisit for the nostalgia, but I don't have anywhere near the same free time anymore.
@kevint_o_m_a_s seriously, same. I remember logging off for my last time, seeing I had ~7 months of total playtime spent, and thinking "wow that was a decent chunk of my life". I'd like to revisit but can't risk getting sucked in again.
A truly epic game. But I lost too many years of my life to consider playing this. But this week, I have seen 3-4 guys in the office all start playing WOW classic. lolladins!

It's clear that TBC and World of Warcraft (currently Shadowlands) have little to do with each other in terms of design. This improves Blizzard's ability to target the same IP to different audiences with different design tastes. However, TBC Classic is in constant danger of losing this core element.
