1 million subdomains added every day? That’s quite a huge database, considering that it already has a massive amount of data. I wonder how customers are given access—do we download the whole thing upon purchase or have daily access? I already contacted the company and am currently awaiting a response. The API variation does its work. It’s a Splunk application, which is a plus since it has made things easier for my team in terms of integration.
Take note of the usage limit of 30 requests per second—quite a lot but keep it in mind when customizing the API.
We’ve been mapping out the attack surface of some of our clients, and Subdomains Lookup has helped tremendously. I’m surprised at the number of subdomains returned by the tool, some of which have already been forgotten by my clients. I’m glad we were able to address them before they’re exploited.
