Many tech startups face budget constraints, often leading them to forego hiring QA engineers due to the high costs associated with full-time positions. Instead, they require their Software Developers/Engineers to test their products.
However, Software Developers/Engineers are primarily focused on innovation, not on conducting comprehensive end-to-end testing. In contrast, Software QA Engineers specialize in rigorous end-to-end testing.
As a result, when these startups launch their Minimum Viable Product (MVP), present it to venture capitalists (VCs), or offer a free trial, their product often contains bugs. We all know that a buggy product can lead to a high customer churn rate, resulting in unsatisfied customers and disappointed investors.
