@arthurcarayon Exactly, thanks for the kind words! There is a big challenge for many industries that were used to make a lot of content on spot and are forced to be remote now. Journalists, video productions, podcasting studios, event organizers, castings...
@miguel_detente Haha that's the purpose! Happy you laughed. So we are still searching for the proper PMF. Maybe its gonna be streaming, screen sharing, but maybe mobile apps! We need to figure out!
I've been using Welder for my podcasts-vidcast for a few weeks now. The product keeps on getting improved. I love it and I'm not saying that because I also love the team haha
congrats and keep pushing new features please!
If you want to create high-quality video podcasts or record conversations Welder is absolutely brilliant. The fact they've now got web access is fantastic. It's very easy to use. The fact each participant is recorded locally has a big impact on the quality. I highly recommend it.
Don't bother with this 'app' it's useless. Messes up your audio, and when you write into support, via email and the chat widget, you get no response!
Oh, and today I get an email saying they're sun-setting a feature THEY STARTED WITH?!
WTF is up with that?!
Absolutely useless, both the product and even the people behind the so-called app.
@kiakamgar once again Kia, I am sorry we missed your ticket. This is 100% our fault. We are a small team and a mistake like this just happens.
It's also one of the reasons we are retiring the original local recording studio, it just weren't reliable enough and there was too much outside our control.
That's why we released new, much more reliable solution https://www.getwelder.com/ to stream, record, edit and repurpose video content.
I can feel your frustration. I am sorry for that. Have a good day!
@johancutych This is what I think about companies that do what you do: https://www.kiakamgar.com/post/f...
They create buggy useless products, have rubbish support then throw it away saying 'it wasn't right'.
Why on earth don't you do some ACTUAL case studies and get proper adult feedback before creating a product. And NO wanting a product is NOT a case study!
It's a useless way to do business.
And wouldn't it be good if a CEO/Founder of the company actually replied without making the comment a FREAKING advert?!
I'm in love with the product. Hope you get to # 1.
It's far better than zoom, zencaster, squadcast and every other podcast recording app.
+it gives videos i.e. I could upload it to Youtube.
Wow that's a great tool. Love the simplicity of that product. I like the fact you can get into a call seamlessly, record and get the job done. I look forward to use it for my next workshops!
Do you have an additional videos of footage recorded with Welder. I've tried a few alternatives to Zoom for a remote podcast but ended up sticking to Zoom
