Congrats, great service but I'm a little skeptical you can keep giving this away for free and will eventually have to lock down. How do you plan to sustain this?
@abhinavsharma great point, we need to grow now, get some critical mass. Then we will see. There might be some additional features that get paid or some limitation.
Incredible shipping pace as always! Transcriptions are huge for my show, so this is a feature that means I don't have to go to Rev every time.
I churned from Welder, it seems like I need to come back --
$10/month for unlimited recording is crazy.

Looks pretty nice, and it's also funny to realize how much you mechanically say stuff like "yeah", "like", or "okay".

@saascoach Thank you! Descript is much more robust, it allows you to edit things. Welder is dead simple way to transcribe anything you need. Anyway there are huge plans for the future!!
What a sleek and simple app! With so many podcasts in the market, this is definitely a useful tool to have, Love the fact that it picks up on different dialects and yet be so accurate. COngrats on the launch, will definitely download this one!

As someone who listens to a lot of podcasts, I can see how useful this app is. I love the fact that it transcribes accurately even for people with different accents. Appreciate the free cost! Will definitely try this one.
