For small business, it's a no-brainer. Weebly has the fonts, images, look and feel, and users are familiar with the tool. Even to do just a blog by email, this is a great solution. With MailChimp's free tier (2,000 subs, 12,000 emails/month), they are competing with free for most customers so keeping them in the Weebly universe is a smart business move. Stickiness is key - if someone thinks about switching to Squarespace or another site builder, they'll also have to figure out how to migrate and re-setup email marketing.

The best feature additions tend to be those that have an element of surprise while still feeling like natural progressions. Weebly Promote is just that. Stripe Atlas is another great example. Going to be tough for email marketing companies to compete with any business utilizing Weebly right now. Anyone on the Weebly team, could this potentially be used for those individuals who don't have conversion oriented website? Or is it only free up to a certain volume and then pay-per after that? Essentially only justified for those companies that are selling something on their website.

@joethomas_x Hey Joe! Weebly Promote offers a free trial, which consists of two free emails, each with the ability to send up to 500 recipients. Feel free to take advantage of those two free emails, and see if the service is a good fit. The tool isn't really limited to e-commerce sites, as a couple people have created emails to notify their viewers of new blog posts, website updates, etc.

I really do like Weebly interface. It's very intuitive and fast before I used Mobirise and google sites. They are free, it's their advangage. But in my personal opinions, interface of Weebly's more convenient.
