I'm Mac, founder of WebWave.
I'm excited to introduce WebWave AI Open Beta 🚀. Our own approach to AI. I know there is a lot of buzz about AI, but we prepared something special. I was thinking a lot about this to do it right. 💡
We thought about how to create AI that would actually be helpful for users and what our strengths are. First, our AI creates a multipage with subpages, not just one page. Second, as you can remember from our first launch, WebWave superpower is a true drag-and-drop feature; you've got the freedom and flexibility to position, resize, and style elements however you want. Once the AI site is generated, you can change everything.
✨How it works?
All you have to do is click "AI website" and describe the goal of your website, your business, or what you do. Our algorithm will convert the information and create a website just for you.

When you create a website with WebWave AI, you have total control over its look. AI will generate the layout, images, color palette, and fonts that will suit your description best. Of course, later, you can still tweak everything with our drag and drop editor.
✨Polish your copy.
WebWave AI Writer will fill your page with copy that will reflect your brand's character. With the "Rewrite" feature, you can experiment with different versions and change singular elements by yourself.
✨Future of WebWave AI.
In the next steps, we'll add more features like an AI Blog and AI Store, and we will let you modify the design of the created website with prompts. But you will always be able to change everything manually using our interface.
My vision is that prompts will let you create the first version of your website very fast, and after you've got that, you'll be able to manipulate every detail of your website with the existing interface.

@shivam_tiwari24 Thank you very much. WebWave's interface is something we've been perfecting for 10 years now, and it gives you a lot of freedom in shaping your website just as you wish. AI gives us new possibilities now. With AI we're able to create a website filled with content. Of course, this will not be perfect, and you will need to manually modify this website to your needs. But AI might do like 75% of the work for you, and you will need to do only the last 25% most specific one. This makes it much, much easier and faster to create a website of the same quality. That's what we're aiming for.
@mocarg It's all based on the prompt, where you initially describe, what's your business is about, and what is it you're doing. We're extracting your main profession from that prompt using AI text recognition. Then we're using AI to create a color pallet best suited for that profession. We pick the right photos (there's room for improvements here), and generate text using AI. After all this is done you get your website prefilled with content suited for your needs, and you can manually upgrade the website and modify every smallest detail using our interface, that's inspired by graphic design tools.

I've used Webflow, Framer, Wordpress, and a bunch of others, so just trying to get a picture of if I should try this out :)

Congratulations team. I’d love to give it a spin and share my feedback. How is it different than Framer?
@neelptl2602 Very good question! First of all Framer is very good but has more closed approach, AI is doing webpage and you can change text, fonts, colors, pictures etc. But you cant modify layout. WebWave thanks to more open approach and drag and drop interface let you modify every element of the website. Also, Framer is more for designers, WebWave more for small business. We are trying to be more intuitive to use and be more competitive with pricing!

The last mental image I had of someone creating a site from almost nothing was the demo from Greg Brockman of OpenAI demoing GPT-4 creating a working website from an image of a sketch from his notebook.

In terms of market positioning, how do you see yourselves vs the giants like Webflow or EC like Shopify, etc?
@julienergan This is great note :). Webflow and Shopify are targeting heavy users mainly. WebWave is targeting small and micro bussines :).

The thing that differentiates us the most from the competitors is the level of customization that we offer. After the website is generated, you can fully edit it by utilizing our drag-and-drop interface. And I don't mean just changing the images or copy, because that's something that everyone offers. I mean changing the layout, moving the elements freely, adding new ones, etc. You can make the AI website your own.

As for now, you can generate a website in English, Polish, and Romanian. However, we are working on expanding the language variants.
