Launching a website is hard! And not just because of the tech. Run through this list before setting your next project live and at least feel 5% more like you know what you’re doing.
I originally created this website a number of years ago and it's been ticking away in the background ever since, getting a small amount of search traffic from Google and the occasional share.
As a portfolio piece though it felt like it needed a bit of love as the old version was built with jQuery, so I decided to redesign and rebuid it in a more modern stack - Next.js (plus Redux Toolkit and Redux Persist to manage state, and Framer Motion to take care of a few animations).
I've also refreshed the content, getting the list items a bit more up to date, and added a bunch of additional reading links to let the user learn more about different topics.
Just a bit of fun really, I don't genuinely believe it's the most useful thing in the world, but I'm happy with how it turned out, and maybe it'll help someone!
