JDoe — Anonymous platform for reporting sexual misconduct
Featured
3

JDoe is the world’s first truly anonymous, end-to-end encrypted reporting platform for survivors (and witnesses) of sexual assault, rape and harassment. We connect mutual victims of repeat offenders directly to world-class personal injury attorneys in their area. JDoe generates a tremendous amount of emotional and practical strength for survivors.

Hey @ryanmsoscia, Where do you see this app going in the future?

I like the core of the idea (including all "healing" related resources), but I think it would be more authentic if you first reported the crime/misconduct to the local authorities rather than an attorney you may be getting a commission out of (assuming the user has not already reported the crime/misconduct prior to submitting it to the app).

@codyfitzpatrick unclear the victims will want to goto the police right away. They may want to speak to counsel first to ensure they present the case correctly. They may also be worried about retaliation, etc. Seeking counsel before engaging with the state is never a bad idea if given the opportunity.
