Is warp still the one to beat?

by•

I used it for a year or two, but eventually went back to iTerm because I found the UX to be over-complicated and slowed me down. (Also, I'm a dinosaur with too much muscle memory to overcome...) But the AI features were interesting, so I'm curious what ya'll see as alternatives, or if you think I should give it another shot.

Was it ever? IMO iTerm has always been the one to beat, if you're like me and you love features.

Btw, check these upcoming AI features (already in nightly build): https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/-/issues/12156#note_2371715155

@huyzing oh so @iTerm2 is going to add AI features, right?

I definitely think it's worth another shot. I use the sidebar so much in my daily routine. Having my favorite commands right there, ready to run in a single click is awesome. Yes, the AI is great but the other features are what makes it invaluable to me!

I continue to use it every day. In addition to the AI features, the new Agent has saved me time on multiple occasions. The ability to create Blocks and use the Drive are fantastic and allow me to keep everything under control. I would give it another chance đź‘Ť
